[00:00:00] What the heck is the Crop Marketing Made Cool conference and why is it unhinged for 2026? We're going to get into that and much more. All about our event happening in Brandon, Manitoba, December 1st and 2nd. Coming up right now. Episode 133. Let's go. [00:00:17] Hey, folks, welcome to the what the Futures podcast, your quick guide to better farming decision. [00:00:31] Alrighty, folks, welcome back to the what the Futures podcast. Of course, my name is Ryan. I'm in in the UPL studio here. Once again this week, this caps off, what was it? Ended up being seven. That was a lot of words. There ended up being seven, like kind of mini episodes. This is the last of the seven. And then we'll get back to our regular scheduled programming here as we enter second week of July. All right, it's a humid one in the studio here this evening, but I'm excited to talk about the Crop Marketing Made Cool conference. Now, before we get to that, we've had a big week. We had a stats can report, a USD USDA report. We got a data dump of numbers that are going to impact our crop marketing here leading into the heart of summer. [00:01:21] And so we do have a lot to talk about. Overall, folks, I could paint a picture of maybe a bit more positivity than anything the reports that came out. I know we got a record print for Canola Acres, which we covered on cup of Coffee with Brian Como from Ireland. Como Lafoy. You gotta look at the ending stocks number and you gotta look at the growing season and what's happening yield wise. I, I'm not saying that I'm not expecting, you know, a poor crop from a prairie perspective. I think we're setting up to be pretty average here, maybe even better. We'll see. Time will tell. You gotta look at the ending stocks. All right, so just when you're starting to look at these numbers, look at where we could end up. And that should help determine your bias in this, in this space, in this, in that commodity, in that market space. All right, now before we get too far down the road in today's short episode, again, this is the final of seven. I guess we ended up doing seven of these mini ones. And so let us know what you think of that format. I am excited to get back to the longer format too. But hey, when you're wanting to take a little vacation, sometimes you gotta make a switch here. So here we are. Now, there is a lot of chatter about fungicide availability. [00:02:37] Our great partners here upl, they do have a new product called Telluron Telluron is a product that you may be a bit more familiar with. It is a new fungicide product from upl and it is. [00:02:50] Canola is kind of where folks would certainly consider it a little bit more, but it can be used. The Telluron fungicide here can be used on many different crops, including wheat, lentils, chickpeas, corn and soybeans. So key diseases that it tackles, Clairentinia, stem rot, fusion use, arium head blight, tan spot, leaf rust, Big words. Ask a Kita blight. [00:03:14] Yeah, just reach out to your UPL rep. They will help you or help me figure out those big words and what to do. So don't forget about Telluron, folks. A brand new fungicide from the folks over at UPL. So we're gonna be taking the UPL studio and what we transform it into is the UPL stage. Live from the UPL stage, the Crop Marketing Made Cool conference happening December 1st and 2nd in Brandon, Manitoba. We're going to be at the Keystone center that if you've ever been to Manitoba Ag Days, this is where it happens. This is a huge venue. And do you know, like, I don't know if you were ever a kid where you got put in a position. [00:04:03] Like, I remember I went to like a camp or an event where we got to like run around the school and play hide and seek in the dark. Do you ever get to do that? Do you ever get to, like, run around in a space that you thought, you know, maybe you weren't supposed to be in or allowed in and got to do something fun? We'll keep the lights on in the Keystone center, but it's a huge space and the activations that we could come up with are somewhat endless. So pretty excited for that. Now people ask me, what are you talking about activations? Well, that's the fun part of a conference. All right, that is the fun part. That's the part that I get the most excited about is turning a crop marketing conference into a little bit of fun. All right? For accommodations, we're going to. We're hooked up at the. At the Canada Inns, which again, is connected to the Keystone Center. So that's where we're going to be December 1st and 2nd. [00:04:55] And what we're going to do here is we're going to craft our 2027 crop marketing plan. All right? We create. [00:05:04] Oh, man. Oh, okay. This actually, this isn't going to come off right, But I actually have the first version. This is the book from Drum Heller for the Crop Marketing Made Cool Conference. And then I actually have version two right here. Again, you're not going to believe me that I was completely by fluke, but it is. [00:05:22] And yeah, here it is. I'm working in this thing all the time. But you are going to come and create and craft your 2027 crop marketing plan. [00:05:34] Now we've made some tweaks and some adjustments as we go and I'm super excited for this third version because we did do this in Drumheller in 2024. And the way that this started, I was at a. It's it. It was July of 24. I'm at an outdoor music festival and I'm sitting, you know, on the grass in my, in my lawn chair and I got a cold beer and I don't know what I was eating with some great food of some sort. [00:06:06] And we've got these great bands on stage and I'm looking around and I see like merch tents and food and you know, some sponsors and activities. And I just thought like, how cool would it be to put on a crop marketing conference where farms are all sitting in the crowd having a beer, you know, enjoying the day and some analyst advisors on stage pitching their greatest, best strategy, the greatest thing that they have cooking for that crop year. Could we rifle through like 20 of those guys, those folks, and have them all come on stage and pitch their idea and us take notes and you know, review and maybe execute and then see how it goes throughout the year. Now this, we're not there. That's not what this conference is. Number one, I don't want to bug you guys in the summer. So we're definitely not sitting in lawn chairs. We are in a conference room. But we do have a merch tent and we do have great food and great drinks and we have high energy activations. This conference is different. We put a lot of time and effort, like anyone's going to say, but what comes back is the feedback forms from people that have attended the event in the past. You know, what an exceptional gathering and well organized event, top notch. The abundance of young farmers at that conference says you're onto something. Hard to get that many young farmers in a room that was an exceptional gathering. The high caliber speakers and expertise that each one has justifies the price for me. Connections to people in the industry whose insights or services I find valuable. Connecting with other farmers who have experience implementing ideas that I have on more successful marketing. [00:07:50] What's that one? Marketing. And encourage me to press on with these new ideas. It's community, folks. It's Community best conference I've been to, hands down from the speakers to venue to the details. I appreciated the VIP treatment with the little touches. I really enjoyed the time to connect with other farmers. There's people that have gone to this conference that have group chats now and stay in contact all throughout the year, which is not what I expected, but is really, really cool to see. [00:08:18] Now, yes, the crowd may be a little bit younger and that's a little bit by design, but it doesn't have to be that way. [00:08:27] It's an event that we want to make a lot of fun and that we also want to bring in all levels of crop marketing. If you're a beginner, we have sessions for you. If you're advanced, we have sessions, sessions and everything in between. It's, you know, majority about crop marketing. I'm going to talk about the agenda in just a second. [00:08:49] But also sometimes it's just about good business and good farm business. So we had, I want to say like 140 or 150 people in Drumheller. [00:09:01] We had around 160 or 170ish, maybe 175 in Moose Jaw. And we're kind of aiming for that same type of number. We don't want. [00:09:13] This is going to sound, I sound like a jerk, but I don't want 400 people there. I like a 150 room. 175 can work as well, but I want people to feel comfortable. I want people to, to engage with their people at their table. I want people, you know, to feel comfortable asking a question and we keep the room nice and tight. Okay. This isn't a sales pitch. I could. It doesn't matter to me. You don't, you shouldn't feel any pressure to buy a ticket to this event. That's not what this is about. The room is going to sell out. It does. It has the other two years. It's done what we've wanted it to do. It's going to sell out again this year and it's going to be up to you. It's going to be up to you if you want to come and make the journey to Brandon and participate in this, in this event. [00:10:01] Now we've put this on. We have a, a big goal of, of working on the little details and we spend a lot of time and energy on those little details. And, and I believe the little details count. Just like in your crop marketing plan, the little details count. [00:10:18] And so that's, we put a lot of time and energy into that. Now, you know, it's not like a rock concert, outdoor festival type style at this time. It is breakout sessions. [00:10:32] We've got. It looks like we're going to have four keynotes, three panels. It is action packed. There's a lot to take in. But don't worry, we've saved a lot of time for fun. [00:10:44] Now. Someone asked me, like, why are you throwing like Unhinged in the title this year? Like, why would you call it the crop Marketing Make Cool conference, you know, slash Unhinged. [00:10:54] And the way that I look at it, and sponsors will ask me this, farmers will ask me this. I think you need to be in crop marketing right now. You need to be a little bit, like, A little bit. I don't know if like, nutty is the right word. Like crazy. I don't think that's necessarily the right word. But you want to be a little bit different and you want to stand out and, you know, do you want to be wild and chaotic as that definition, you know, said earlier? No, I don't think so. But you want to operate with, I would say, like, passion and you want to not give 2 cents. I was gonna say a swear word of what people think. So just go there, be yourself, act yourself, make your crop marketing plan for yourself. And yeah, there may be times where people look at you and be like, what the heck is that guy doing over there? Like, why the heck, why the heck is he doing that for crop marketing? That sounds crazy to me. I would never do that. But maybe that's the special stuff right there. Maybe that is a huge difference maker and, you know, yields a huge benefit to that farm's financial picture. [00:12:07] Now we're also going to be a little bit unhinged during the event. [00:12:11] Like, I rock a T shirt and, you know, some hats, change hats and. And I'm not in a suit and tie is what I'm trying to say here. And I encourage everybody that attends to wear their power suit. I don't care if it's like a track suit, Adidas tracksuit, if it's a gown, if it's a tuxedo, like, wear your power suit to the event. Something that you're feeling that you're going to feel comfortable in and that you're not going to be sitting there thinking about, man, my shirt is tight, or is this tie complimenting my eyes today or my shoes. Don't worry about that crap. You're there to figure out your 2027 crop marketing plan. Okay. I think unhinged for us, like, we have a DJ Spinning tunes basically the entire time at breaks. We've got the activations are going to be extremely fun and engaging. We had tremendous activations in Moose Jaw, Drumheller as well. Like who gets greeted by dinosaurs as they're registering? Right. That was a lot of fun. I think for Drumhaler. For me, what caught me off guard, I was like, well number one, setting up the day of the event, that was a bit stressful and we were still setting up as people were registering. So we learned from that and got set up the day before in Moosea and then I wasn't ready for the energy I had driven that morning, set up all day. [00:13:46] I was not in the space to really elevate and like get going and like meet everybody at their level. And so I was excited to be able to do that in Moose Jaw, make that adjustment. There was a lot of discussion, a lot of community in Drumheller and that carried forward to Moose jaw. I think 60% of our people that attended Drumheller came to Musha, made the trek east and joined us for a second conference. And I already know, I can see the list of how many people have bought tickets. So they're doing the trifecta. They're doing the third one here in Brandon and that's exciting to see for Moose Jaw. We were very well hosted in that city. [00:14:30] And that's the other thing people ask me like, dude, why are you not, why aren't you putting this in like Calgary or Regina? Like why are you going to these smaller towns? [00:14:42] And you know, like the biggest thing for me is to have, you know, to have a, in an impact to that community for that week, have a financial boost to that community. And don't get me wrong, downtown Edmonton needs a financial boost as well. But it's not the same. You know, we try hard to engage with the local community and we try hard to support as many businesses as we can that week and let people know that we're coming to town and that we have a group of people here and we need food and we need drink and we need swag and we need entertainment. Right. So we want to engage and put money in those folks pockets. So that's why we focus on the smaller towns. Does it cost me more money for transportation for my speakers? Yes. Does it cost us, you know, more money to kind of pull it off because we have to pull in some folks from further away. It can. But also you can't beat small town hospitality. I'll never change that or trade that in. It's Great. When you, you know, your photographer, your dj, your food venues, your beer is all coming from that local community. So we work. [00:15:59] Work hard at that as well. The other thing with the crop marketing, make cool conferences, you know, people will say, well, the ticket price is steep. And like, I don't know, guys. I went to Costco this week. My wife did Superstore on Monday, at Costco on Tuesday. [00:16:16] Or a family of four. Yeah, that wasn't cheap either. So, you know, nothing is cheap. And you kind of pay for what you get. You get what you pay, right? And so for us, you know, is it expensive? Yes. But I'll tell you why. So the first thing is, if you want to hear a pet peeve of mine, is when someone calls me and says, hey, Ryan, we're putting on an event, and we just want you to know that we're, you know, we're inviting you to come to this event and speak. And I've talked about this on the show before, and I'm like, okay, cool. Like, what's the details? And can I send you my schedule for my speaking fees? And they're like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Actually kind of thought that you would pay us. I'm like, what? Why? [00:17:05] Well, you might gain some business by being in front of that stage, being on that stage, and doing your talk. [00:17:13] All right. Yeah, like, sure. [00:17:17] It's not really how it works. I might start a relationship with somebody and meet them and develop that relationship over time, and they may put their hand up and say, yeah, I want to join. [00:17:31] I want you to do some consulting work for me. Or I want to join a lunchbox crew or something like that. But it's a pet peeve of mine because I'm putting my time and energy out there, and I want to put something of value out there that people can take and learn from. I'm not doing a sales pitch. [00:17:46] I don't like doing a sales pitch. [00:17:49] And so I was naive in this because I didn't really realize that most people that speak to farmers at conferences are paying to be there. [00:17:59] And I was like, you know what that is? That is baloney. So we compensate all of our speakers that attend the conference. [00:18:09] And, like, we're bringing in some folks from the US we're bringing in some folks from across Western Canada. [00:18:16] Their time is worth something. [00:18:19] And in our agreements that we send to our speakers, it says, hey, we appreciate your time. We appreciate your energy and your expertise, and you will not be doing a sales pitch. [00:18:33] And these are the topics we're looking to cover. What do you think? And present us with some skills here. Present us with some takeaways. Because at the end of the day, them being on stage is their sales pitch. If. If Trent Clarinbach's on stage doing a great song and dance, and someone's like, hey, I want to talk to the guy later on tonight, you know, when we're having a cocktail at the karaoke, you know, like, I want to talk to that guy, and I think he's doing something cool. Like, that's where it kind of happens. But I want to go to Trent and say, trent, buddy, I want you to go up there and give us something. Something that we can write in these darn books, use throughout the year, and help us be better crop marketers. So that is the agenda for everybody that comes to the conference. I am paying for your time. I thank you for being here, But I want you to give us something. We want to learn something from your presentation today. [00:19:29] Then I tell you, there was one sales pitch that happened, maybe two, and we had a chat with those folks after because it was. [00:19:37] We're trying to cut that down. All right? Now, the other thing is, and I do want to thank our early partners. Like, we asked upl. I told UP guys, I need, like, a banner and lights and a sound system, and I need to rent this stuff. [00:19:55] Would you guys sponsor the stage? Like, absolutely, Ryan. So it's live from the UPL stage for the conference. Great partner John Deere's got a very fun activation for us this. This year as well. Excited about that. Brett Young. Again, these folks are partners on the podcast. They're also very happy to put their hand up and say, yes, we can help cover the cost of some of that dinner, or, yes, we can help with. [00:20:19] With AV or whatever it is. Right? Cover some of the speaker costs. Like, that is all part of it. But. [00:20:25] But we limit that. We limit that. We don't have trade show booths. We don't have sales folks roaming around trying to catch you, trying to get your money out of your pockets. It's farmers in that room. Everybody is vetted. [00:20:42] Everybody has to pass. [00:20:44] Are you a farmer test? A guy got mad at me, actually, every year, people get mad at me and they're like, this is baloney. Like, here's my thousand bucks. I want to be at the conference. I'm like, yes, sorry. [00:20:58] You're in the industry. [00:20:59] Like, it's not your fault. It's just the way we run this. And when I have eight people at a table, I want eight Farmers at the table. [00:21:10] All right, so when you're sitting there, if we're there with 150 people, there's going to be 140 farmers and there's going to be, you know, six, eight industry people and some of my people helping me out as well. So people tell me that is very, you know, unique. And, you know, Scotiabank's a partner of ours. We've got some new ones coming on this year as well. 337 is a, is a partner of ours. You know, like, we, we do have sponsors and we say thank you to our sponsors. But I remember going to UPL and being like, yeah, like, so thank you for, for coming and, and for putting, giving us some money to put this on. But also, you could send one rep like that. That's it, right? [00:21:59] John Deere hasn't even sent anyone before. And there I'm. Sponsors are like, are you. What are you talking about, dude? Like, you're, you're nuts. Like, I'm like, well, no, this is how we do it. So thank you very much. And I joke about it the whole week about how our sponsors are doing great things by sponsoring the event, but also they're not there. So it's, it's different, right? [00:22:20] So we take a lot of pride that when you're sitting at a table, you're sitting with, with farmers. [00:22:26] I don't need half the room to be industry people or some conferences is 75, 80% of the industry. They're. Those conferences are out there for you. You go to those ones. This one is for farmers. And it's about crop marketing. All right? [00:22:41] Now, crop marketing to me is just something that we can continue to work on always and forever. [00:22:49] You can get better at it. You can work on your skill. [00:22:52] It's never really done. [00:22:54] And so that's why we bring in a variety of speakers and we bring in all sorts of folks. And I had one, I think it was Jessica that came to me and said, I can't believe you have all these people under one roof at this event. She's like, this would have taken six conferences for me to go and attend and see all these folks and get their opinions and learn their skills, right? And no, we got everybody under one roof. Now. Just a quick. The agenda. I'd call this unofficial, unofficial speaker agenda. It's pretty much baked, but there is still some tweaks to be made. But we have, you know, returning for the third year in a row, we only have one. I'm just looking at the list here. We have one that's been two that's going to be to all three by popular demand. Farmer Nathan is going to be there with his little black book and he's teaming up with, with rbc. [00:23:55] Tyler Durst from rbc, a futures broker. They're teaming up together because they work together each and every single day. So that's a session. That's our only speaker that's been at all three. We're bringing back Trent Clarenbach. He was in Drumheller. We've got Dwayne from Grain Metrics. He's a holdover from Moose Jaw. He was so his presentation was so riveting that we. He's doing a different one this year, but he's coming back. We've got 337 coming back. Darren from 337. Again, not crop marketing related, but farm business related and wealth related. All right, so we got that going on as well. So what we have for keynotes, we're still trying to finalize a couple here because we're, we're trying to, we're trying to. There's a few things I'm really trying to get on the agenda and I'm having to work a little harder to lock it down. [00:24:53] But anyways, we've got Vance Crowe kicking off the conference on December 1st. [00:25:01] And if you just want a little bit of a snippet here, you can go to vancecrow.com, check out his website. He's a phenomenal public speaker. I booked Vance as I was driving to Moose Jaw. I said, vance, we're doing this in Brandon. These are the dates. [00:25:20] You available? He said, absolutely. And his keynote presentation is going to be on communication skills to strengthen relationships with employees, vendors and family while navigating conversations about your operations future. [00:25:34] Now you can go and check this out. There's a 30 second video just highlighting his presentation. But Vance is a motivational speaker and by coincidence, a couple months later was chatting with Riley and Riley went and attended a conference in the US And I said, how was the conference? And he's like, oh, it's awesome. Really well done. Great speakers. And he's like, man, I saw this Vance guy speak. And just one of the best speakers I've ever heard. I was like, really? I'm like, well, interestingly enough, he will be joining us in Brandon, Manitoba to kick us off. So that's the first night. The reason that Vance is kicking us off is that he's going to give us tools instantly that we will be able to use throughout the rest of the conference. All right, so I'll get up there, do a bit of a song and dance. Vance will take over, kick us off with the first keynote, and then we have a social event after that. A little bit of a mixer, a little bit of a party. [00:26:34] And we're still working with some of our partners to finalize that night. Next morning, we got going bright and early. We're going to do a strategy session for analysts, advisors on stage with me. And we're just going to hammer through some of the, the, you know, crop marketing themes that people should be paying attention to. So we're going to riff on that for 45 minutes or so. Now, the other thing I'll add in here is if you are looking for a market outlook, you're going to be disappointed. Okay, we have a little bit of outlook type stuff and I will share the lunchbox crew guys. I take them aside, I do an outlook type meeting with them. But if you're looking for an outlook, you're going to be disappointed. And I know an outlook for you is like, it's like candy for a kid. You want the outlook. What's the outlook? What's the weather outlook? How's your weather outlook doing this year? Guys, you know not to pick on the weather guys, don't get me wrong, but come on, how's your weather outlook helping you out right now that that was dropped on you in January? [00:27:38] What's your outlook when you leave that room and Trump puts a tweet out or a post on whatever that other platform is? You know, what's your outlook then? What's your outlook when the Strait of Hormuz gets shut down? You know, what's your outlook when you get 13 inches of fricking rain in the month of June? That does not help you. An outlook does diddly squat for you. It might make you feel good in the moment that everyone sits there and says, oh, the commodities you're growing are, are going to be in tighter supply and everything's going up. Yeah, sure, great. Let's all do that and feel good for a minute. But when you get real life happening on the farm, none of that stuff matters. The outlook that happened last week, the outlook I gave to a group of farmers in central Alberta in March means Jack. [00:28:29] All right, today. [00:28:32] So we have a no outlook rule here as well. A lot of rules. The poor speakers that put their hands up to say, I'm going to be there. Right? I'm going to participate. [00:28:42] Yeah, they, they kind of go through the ringer and I Do appreciate them dearly. [00:28:46] Breakout Session 1. Three different speakers for you to pick from. You'll get to see them twice. It might be John DePape, it could be Gavin with backswath, Gavin Becker with Backswath management. [00:28:59] It could be Brian Como with icl. Allison from the Money Farm. Could be Dwayne with Grain Metrics, could be Nathan with rbc. Could be Trent Klarenbach. Don't know if I mentioned him yet. It could be the tech guys doing some harvest profit work with us. It could be Darren from 337 or his crew. It could be me. [00:29:20] Right? We have four different breakout sessions. Everyone, most people get to go twice. Not everybody, but Nathan's going twice, Dwayne's going twice. Like a lot of folks get to go twice. So you can kind of pick and choose. And then we got farmer panels. We're going to bring farmers on stage to talk about real life stuff. It's just learning from each other. [00:29:42] So we have that. We got Ryan Bonnet will be on the grain marketing on the strategy session at the start of the day. A couple other keynotes are just slipping my mind here. I've got one. We're kind of working on this AI theme. And so there's going to be something around AI. I got a couple irons in the fire on, on that, but not, not AI, like here's AI, blah, blah, blah, but tools that people can start to implement to help them with their crop marketing. So we got something cooking on that. And then we also have something about integrating technology with risk management. So we're working on, on a theme there as well. So you've got, even if you think about it, if you got John Depape, Trent Clarenback, Brian Como, Dwayne Sidor, Allison Thompson, Ryan Bonnet. [00:30:33] Who else do we have? Nathan Kuhn, Tyler Durst, the list goes on and on. Right. And so just a, a great lineup there. And we're gonna announce the official sorry, still be unofficial agenda for the month of July, but it'll be circulated here shortly. We're just doing some last minute communications and just trying to get these last two keynote spots. So anyways, breakout, breakout. Then we have lunch at noon. Farmer panel. So we'll have lunch and then do a short farmer panel. Another keynote, two more breakout sessions. So breakout three and four again, could be me up there, could be Trent. You get to pick, right? You get to see these three folks are speaking. Who am I going to go and see now? And you get to pick and choose your day. And then we're going to wrap it up with another farmer panel and then a keynote. It's a huge day. All right. Because we, what we've learned over the last couple years is that by the time Thursday rolls around, it's wintertime. We don't know what's going on weather wise. [00:31:34] People start to leave throughout the day. And the first day we cut it off at like 11 and we had people leaving anyway. You have a farm business to run, right? [00:31:45] You can maybe take a day and a half or so, but maybe it's three days all with travel and everything, but you can't take five. So we shortened it up this, this week and then that night we have our main activation night. And so we've got the hockey rink ranted. I'm not gonna give all the secrets out, but we've got the hockey rink rented. We're not gonna play a hockey game, but we're gonna have some fun around the hockey rink. The DJ is going to be spinning some, some jock, jock jams or whatever they used to call it back in the day. I mean, I even asked Yvonne, Yvonne and Amanda are the marketing folks behind here that do all the, the, the important stuff. But I was like, we need like rock em Sock em videos playing throughout the day as well because we have a little bit of a hockey theme to go with it Again, Home of the Brandon Wheat King. So we've got a kind of a hockey themed activation that night. Lots of great food, great drink and lots of chance to, to chat with other farmers. So it's, it's a packed conference, folks. We shut her down that night and then folks can head up Thursday morning. Yeah. Unless you're with the Lunchbox Crew. If you're with the Lunchbox Crew, the fun kind of continues Thursday morning and then we, we won't get into those details today. [00:33:00] So there we go, folks. Went longer than I wanted. That's the crop marketing made cool conference we have right now. We have a code running unhinged for those early adopters, the ones that want to secure their seat again. This is, it's not a pitch, guys. It doesn't matter to me. I, I hope I've shed some light on what we're doing for the crop marketing make cool commerce. I hope you're excited and interested in joining us. But we do have 10, 10 codes. Unhinged saves you a hundred bucks per seat and we're going to run that here until, until they run out here in July and then we'll kind of really kick this thing off Sep Sep 1. So that's. It's all on the website. Ryan Denma. You can see the details there. If you want to learn more information, Ryan, at what? The Futures Podcast. Ca. That's how you can get a hold of me. [00:33:48] If you want to talk to farmers that have attended, by all means happy to connect you so you can learn more through their eyes. Right. The guys that paid the big bucks to be there. It's a lot of fun. I look forward to putting it on here once again this year. Super excited about the list of speakers and also super excited about being in Brandon. Yeah, every year we do a silent auction. The attendees are phenomenal. You get great deals on stuff, but all that money raised goes to the food bank of that town. So Drumheller Moose Jaw. This time will be Brandon. [00:34:22] We also do a few activations with, with youth. So if you're a. A college kid or a young, young kid getting into crop marketing, we do have some scholarship type opportunities there and of course we want to engage with the young folk of Brandon. I know there's a college there. If, if anyone from that college is listening to this show, we definitely want to be in touch with you and get some some youth. In Drumheller, we had about a dozen high school seniors sitting in the back row. That was really cool to have them there. And yeah, they sat in the back with their arms crossed and were a little intimidated, but it was still great to see them come out and participate in a crop marketing conference. [00:35:01] All right, folks, that's it for the mini episodes here. This one went a little bit longer. Thank you for hanging out with me. I'll be back to regular programming next week. [00:35:12] And again, you guys know where to find me. Hit me up. Email me if you have any questions and go ahead and snag those conference tickets again. Unhinged saves you a hundred bucks. We have 10 of those available and we'll go from there. So for the what the Futures podcast, my name is Ryan and guess what, folks, I'm out of here.
